COMMENTS:

This drum is modeled after the classic Moroccan Bendir. It has a great tone at any pitch. On a dry day, its pitch will be higher, to lower the pitch wipe the skin gently with a damp towel and the tone will become low, rezonant and have the characteristic "Buzz" provided by the nylon snare strings.
